What is speed dating?
Speed dating is an organised social event where individuals can swiftly meet and interact with numerous potential romantic partners. It is a popular choice for those seeking to expand their social network or find a potential romantic connection.
During a speed dating event, participants usually engage in a series of short dates, usually lasting between three to ten minutes. Each pair has a limited timeframe to introduce themselves before a timer prompts them to move on to the next person.
Typically, speed dating events are arranged by hosts or dating agencies and take place at specific venues. To keep track of their impressions, participants often use scorecards or rating systems to indicate their level of interest or compatibility with each individual they meet. At the end of the event, organisers collect these scorecards and pair up individuals who have expressed mutual interest.
Speed dating at Prezzo
Join Love Island Royalty, Davide Sanclimenti, for an exciting evening of speed dating and delicious Italian cuisine at Prezzo.
As the summer of love approaches, Prezzo is teaming up with Davide to assist single Brits in diving into the world of dating by bringing potential couples together for an energetic matchmaking experience.
Hosted by Davide himself, these two events will take place at Prezzo restaurants in London and Manchester from 7:00pm - 9:00pm on Thursday 8th June and Thursday 15th June.
How does it work?
During the event, you will have the opportunity to meet approximately 20 individuals, ensuring an equal ratio of men and women—open to all sexual orientations!
Upon arrival, the friendly Prezzo staff will warmly welcome and register you. You'll receive a sticker to write your name on and wear proudly. Before the speed dating commences, enjoy a welcome drink and mingle with fellow singletons. You can also seek dating tips from Davide himself!
During the main event, you will partake in a series of speed dating rounds, each lasting up to 10 minutes. Engage in delightful conversations, flirtation, and laughter as you get to know your dates. To help you remember your connections, we'll provide a scorecard for you to mark down those you find interesting.
Throughout the night, there will be breaks for food, drinks, and casual conversations. The evening will feature delightful dishes from our new Prezzo Summer Menu, including indulgent Pea and Pecorino Arancini and a suitably summery Courgette, Ricotta & Sundried Tomato Pizza. Once the speed dating rounds conclude, if you discover a potential match, you'll be encouraged to exchange contact details to arrange a second date.
